About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Partnership Taxation Senior Manager to join a dynamic team in Houston. This role requires a strong technical background in partnership taxation, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience at a top 10 accounting firm and a proven track record in tax compliance, consulting, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage partnership tax compliance and consulting engagements, including partnership structuring, entity formation, and M&A-related tax matters.

  • Prepare, review, and provide guidance on Sub-chapter K partnership taxation, partnership returns, joint venture, and non-corporate entity tax returns.

  • Provide technical expertise in US GAAP and complex tax accounting issues.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with exceptional service and communication.

  • Mentor, train, and coach junior staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.

  • Contribute to business development efforts, including client proposals and engagement planning.

  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities efficiently.

Required Qualifications:

  • CPA certification required.

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive tax compliance and/or consulting experience, ideally in public accounting.

  • Experience with partnership structuring, entity formation, and M&A is preferred.

  • Strong leadership, business development, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills.

  • Exceptional written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements in a results-driven, fast-paced environment.

  • Must be from a top 10 accounting firm.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in business development initiatives.

  • Minimal job-hopping history preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annual salary: $195,000 – $215,000

  • Annual performance bonus potential

  • Hybrid work model (3 days in-office per week)
