Janitorial Services Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable Janitorial Services Technician to provide professional cleaning and sanitation services at the Isabella Permanent Operations Admin Office and Maintenance Shop. The ideal candidate will perform regular cleaning twice per week and conduct semi-annual deep cleaning tasks in compliance with OSHA safety standards and facility security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

🧹 Bi-Weekly (Wednesdays and Fridays):

• Empty and replace trash liners in all areas

• Sweep and damp mop tile and concrete floors

• Dust furniture, shelves, ledges, blinds, and work surfaces

• Spot clean doors, walls, and glass for smudges and fingerprints

• Clean and disinfect restrooms:

  • Toilets, urinals, sinks, and mirrors

  • Refill supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, seat covers)

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of locker room shower

• Clean kitchen sink, counters, stove area, and microwave hood

• Maintain stock of consumables and leave spare toilet paper rolls

🧽 Semi-Annual (2x per year):

• Clean all interior and exterior windows and sills

• Polish all tile floors

Required Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred

• Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively

• Familiarity with disinfectants and basic floor care

• Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

Compliance Requirements:

• Completion of required training within 30 days of hire:

  • Antiterrorism Level I

  • Operational Security (OPSEC)

  • Suspicious Activity Reporting (iWATCH)

• Must be E-Verified for employment eligibility

• Adherence to OSHA and EM 385-1-1 safety standards

Work Environment:

• Indoor administrative office and adjacent maintenance shop

• Government-furnished utilities (water, electricity)

• Contractor must supply all tools, equipment, and consumables
