HVAC Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience, and a commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service in residential, commercial, or institutional settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, ventilation units, and refrigeration equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform corrective repairs
Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal codes and safety standards
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding job status and system recommendations
Respond to emergency repair requests and be available for on-call support, if required
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
2–5 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair
Valid HVAC technician certification or EPA Section 608 certification
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing related to HVAC
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces
Preferred:
Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship or technical program
State HVAC license or journeyman certification
OSHA 10 or 30 certification
Experience with building automation systems (BAS)
Work Environment:
Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
May require working in tight or elevated spaces
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
