English–Spanish Interpreter (Onsite – Law Enforcement Training Programs)

GD Resources LLC is seeking highly qualified English–Spanish Interpreters to provide professional interpretation services in support of International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) training courses. Interpreters will support U.S. Government–sponsored law enforcement and criminal justice training programs delivered to international participants.

Services are performed onsite and require accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and subject-matter familiarity with criminal justice, law enforcement, and investigative terminology.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation from English to Spanish and Spanish to English during classroom-based law enforcement training courses

  • Accurately interpret complex subject matter related to:

    • Criminal investigations

    • Anti-gangs and narcotics enforcement

    • Money laundering and asset forfeiture

    • Cybercrime and dark web investigations

    • Human trafficking and forced labor

    • Border interdiction and financial crimes

  • Support multi-day training sessions, ranging from one to two interpreters per course, as scheduled

  • Maintain professional demeanor and neutrality at all times

  • Ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness of interpretation services

  • Coordinate with instructors and course facilitators as needed to ensure effective communication

  • Comply with all site-specific policies, security requirements, and administrative procedures

Performance Standards (Quality Assurance)

  • Perform all required interpretation services as defined in the scope of work

  • Maintain a high level of performance such that no more than one (1) customer complaint per month is received

  • Respond promptly and professionally to any corrective actions identified by GD Resources LLC

  • Repeat complaints for the same deficiency are not permitted

Schedule of Performance

Interpreters must be available to support courses scheduled throughout February–December 2026, including but not limited to:

  • Protective Operations and Executive Security

  • Investigating and Prosecuting Violent Transnational Criminal Organizations

  • Anti-Gangs and Advanced Anti-Gangs Courses

  • Financial Investigations and Money Laundering

  • Cyber Dark Web and Virtual Currency Investigations

  • Human Trafficking and Forced Labor Investigations

  • International Border Interdiction and Fraudulent Documents Training

Assignments range from one-week sessions, with interpreter staffing varying between one (1) and two (2) interpreters per course, depending on course requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish

  • Demonstrated professional experience providing interpretation services

  • Ability to accurately interpret law enforcement, legal, investigative, and financial terminology

  • Strong listening, memory, and communication skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality

  • Experience supporting government, law enforcement, judicial, or international training environments preferred

Professional Conduct & Compliance

  • Must adhere to all academy rules, codes of conduct, and onsite procedures

  • Must follow all guidance related to performance quality, security, and professionalism

  • Must cooperate fully with quality monitoring and corrective action processes
