Job Title: Senior SharePoint Developer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SharePoint Developer to design, build, and enhance enterprise SharePoint environments across multiple versions, including SharePoint On-Premises (2007–2019) and SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365). This role will be responsible for developing secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that support business operations, workflows, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of SharePoint development and administration expertise, strong skills in C#, ASP.NET, PowerShell, SQL Server, and experience with enterprise migrations and integrations. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to deliver critical solutions in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain SharePoint solutions across multiple business applications and sites.
  • Build custom SharePoint applications and web parts using C#, ASP.NET, SPFx, Visual Studio, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS.
  • Configure, administer, and manage SharePoint services such as User Profiles, Search, Excel Services, and Metadata.
  • Implement workflows and automation using SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and Nintex.
  • Migrate content and applications from legacy SharePoint sites to newer versions or SharePoint Online using PowerShell and migration tools.
  • Use Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) to create modern business solutions and data visualizations.
  • Manage SharePoint permissions and access controls to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support back-end integrations.
  • Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 support, respond to tickets, and participate in on-call rotations for SharePoint incidents.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Prepare project updates, technical documentation, and manage requests through IT service management tools such as Remedy.
 
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of hands-on SharePoint development and administration experience (2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, and SharePoint Online).
  • Proficiency in: C#, ASP.NET, SPFx, Visual Studio, PowerShell, SQL Server, IIS, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, CSOM, JSOM, JSON, SharePoint Web Services
  • Proven experience with SharePoint migrations and document management strategies.
  • Expertise in creating and managing automated workflows (SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, Nintex).
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint central administration and system configuration.
  • Experience translating business needs into SharePoint-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Experience supporting IT systems in public sector or regulated industries.
  • Experience with Remedy or other IT service management platforms.
  • Familiarity with public safety, justice, or healthcare information systems.
  • Microsoft SharePoint or related Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience working within Agile and Waterfall development environments.
