Position Overview:
Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative developing mobile and cloud applications for statewide agency operations. The role requires expert knowledge in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android Studio, and RESTful API integrations for enterprise-scale public sector applications.

Position Overview:
Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative developing mobile and cloud applications for statewide agency operations. The role requires expert knowledge in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android Studio, and RESTful API integrations for enterprise-scale public sector applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test native Android mobile apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Integrate mobile apps with cloud systems via RESTful APIs
- Create mockups, functional specs, and participate in design sessions
- Support testing, documentation, training, and UAT
- Provide ongoing enhancements based on customer feedback
- Ensure applications meet business and user experience requirements
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience with Jetpack Compose UI
- 4+ years using Kotlin/Java for Android development
- 5+ years in native Android app development
- 5+ years translating business needs into technical specs and mobile app designs
- 4+ years supporting system and user acceptance testing
- 2+ years working with Room, SQLite, or similar databases
