Purpose:

Support the spiritual well-being of single Airmen by planning, organizing, and executing ministry activities. The position focuses on building relationships, promoting resiliency, and fostering spiritual growth in coordination with Chapel staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers.

  • Program Execution: Lead weekly social events, monthly community service, and regular faith-based gatherings.

  • Administration: Maintain records, budgets, calendars, reports, and equipment inventory.

  • Promotion: Publicize events using social media, flyers, and presentations to Airmen councils and leadership groups.

  • Compliance: Follow all Air Force, federal, and local policies and undergo background checks.

  • Coordination: Work closely with Chapel staff and attend required meetings.

  • Hours: Max 30 hours/week.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant ministry experience in military settings.

  • Skilled in event planning, budgeting, communication, and volunteer coordination.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, social media, and AV/gaming equipment.

  • Must demonstrate understanding of Air Force Core Values and be able to work in a multi-faith environment.


Deliverables:

  • Monthly reports, time records.

  • Annual calendar and budget plan.

  • Participation in training and professional development as required.

    Standard Schedule to Include:

  • Work Hours: Up to 30 hours per week

  • Duties: Administrative tasks, volunteer coordination, event planning, and execution

  • Events:

    • Weekly: One social event and one faith-based gathering

    • Monthly: One resiliency-building event and one community service activity
