Overview:
GD Resources is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Solutions Architect to oversee the technical roadmap for the Client’s Salesforce Org. This position will collaborate with other Salesforce Architects to ensure solutions align with best practices, adopt a low-code approach, and leverage third-party solutions appropriately. The role involves architecture/design documentation, development, administrative tasks, and on-call support for Salesforce applications. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, software design principles, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into system, application, and process designs.
- Develop technical solutions with interlocked financial modeling for complex technical proposals.
- Analyze customer service requirements and design solutions to meet objectives.
- Construct solution scope, risk profiles, and financial models for large-scale technical projects.
- Maintain and apply detailed industry and internal services knowledge to build innovative solutions.
- Provide risk assessments and remediation plans for complex services proposals.
- Compose Statements of Work (SOWs) and other documentation using automation tools.
- Serve as a trusted expert advisor on technical services to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices, Client’s security principles, and DIR requirements.
- Perform development and administrative tasks, maintaining high-quality results.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for HHSC Salesforce applications as required.
- Work extended hours and attend in-person meetings with short notice when necessary.
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet or exceed the following requirements to be considered for this role:
- 8+ years of experience in PeopleSoft Application Development (PeopleCode, PeopleTools, SQR, SQL, Oracle).
- 8+ years of experience in PeopleSoft Financials implementation and upgrades, including development for Contracts, ePro, GL, Payables, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, and Commitment Control.
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle databases.
- 8+ years of experience with Unix, Shell scripting, and data migration.
- 8+ years of experience developing in a PeopleSoft 9.2 environment.
- 8+ years of experience developing reports using BI Publisher.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience using Jira & Agile methodologies.
- Expertise in Salesforce architecture, software design principles, and security compliance.
- Ability to handle extended work hours and limited vacation availability as needed.
