Job Title: Project Manager
Place of Performance: 40 Haven Ave., New York, NY 10032 (Hybrid – 50% Telecommuting Allowed)
Minimum Experience: 7+ years of progressive project management experience in large-scale IT and healthcare operations projects
Rate: $41/hr - $76/hr, depending on experience
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 30 Months (Full-Time)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex IT projects supporting Protected Health Information (PHI) and healthcare operational systems. This is a long-term hybrid role offering a unique opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that support medical informatics and technical services within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project and portfolio plans across technical healthcare systems
  • Use project management tools (e.g., MS Project) to track deliverables, timelines, and milestones
  • Facilitate meetings, schedule events, and coordinate cross-functional team activities
  • Direct project execution, manage change control, and oversee resource allocation
  • Prepare and present comprehensive status and defect reports, lifecycle documentation
  • Coordinate documentation efforts for federal and state-level compliance and approvals
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues using standardized tools
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including executives
  • Guide and enhance project management practices ensuring alignment with industry and regulatory standards
  • Build and lead collaborative and results-oriented project teams

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 84 months managing multiple, complex IT projects including all phases: origination through closeout
  • Minimum 84 months experience using desktop and online PM tools (e.g., MS Project), WBS, risk tracking, testing, and quality assurance
  • Minimum 84 months experience overseeing technical project progress for initiatives involving 5,000+ users or budgets over $500K
  • Minimum 84 months performing business process analysis and developing formal requirements and project documentation
  • Minimum 84 months experience facilitating verbal/written communications and reporting across stakeholder groups
  • Minimum 48 months experience in public sector healthcare projects involving HIPAA, accreditation, and operational support
  • Minimum 48 months experience in higher education projects supporting medical research under HHS or NIH regulatory frameworks
