Agency: Office of Mental Health
Location: Hybrid (330 5th Ave A-B, New York, NY 10001)
Rate: $31 - $41 (Depending on experience)
Position Overview:
Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative supporting the OPHE Interoperability Program. Role focuses on testing HL7 FHIR applications using tools such as Visual Studio .NET, Smile CDR, Selenium, and AWS.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop test artifacts, perform functional and automation testing, execute SQL queries, validate HL7 FHIR resources, and ensure traceability from business rules to test scenarios. Collaborate across teams to ensure quality assurance across SDLC phases.

Qualifications:
- 7+ years as lead or senior tester
- 7+ years using IBM/HP/Microsoft test tools
- 7+ years developing SQL queries
- 7+ years in Java/VB Script, Selenium, C/C++
- 5+ years testing HL7 FHIR
- 5+ years API testing experience (Postman or similar)
- 3+ years Agile testing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
