Janitorial Services Technician / Custodian
GD Resources LLC is seeking a reliable Janitorial Services Technician to support facility cleaning operations at the Administration Building and Group Shelter at John Martin Reservoir. The technician will perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and facility maintenance tasks to maintain safe and sanitary conditions in accordance with federal facility standards.
This role supports facilities managed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers and requires consistent performance, attention to detail, and adherence to government quality standards.
Work will take place at the John Martin Reservoir Administration Building and the Group Shelter located near Hasty, Colorado.
Key Responsibilities
General Janitorial Duties
Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, kitchen areas, conference rooms, and public spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, showers, and restroom fixtures.
Dust furniture, equipment, vents, and surfaces.
Remove cobwebs, debris, and insects from interior areas.
Maintain sanitary conditions in kitchens and break areas.
Building Maintenance & Cleaning
Vacuum carpets and clean floor surfaces including tile and linoleum.
Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and display surfaces.
Wipe desks, chairs, cabinets, and office furniture.
Clean appliances, countertops, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain conference rooms and copier rooms.
Exterior Maintenance
Remove litter within a 50-foot radius of building entrances.
Sweep sidewalks and entry walkways.
Maintain cleanliness around facility entrances.

Service Schedule
Daily Cleaning
Administration Building cleaning performed 4 days per week:
Monday
Tuesday
Thursday
Saturday
Weekly Cleaning
Administration Building: once per week (Monday)
Group Shelter: once per week (Friday)
Monthly Cleaning
Performed first Friday of each month
Bi-Annual Deep Cleaning
Performed twice per year:
February 1
July 1

The technician must supply or operate equipment such as:
Mops and buckets
Brooms
Vacuum cleaners
Carpet shampooers
Cleaning cloths
Disinfectants and detergents
Floor wax and cleaning compounds
Air fresheners and restroom sanitation products
All materials must meet federal environmental purchasing guidelines including:
EPA Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines
USDA BioPreferred Program standards where applicable.
Work Hours
Work must be performed between:
4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
except:
Federal holidays
Government facility closures
Emergency or administrative closures.
Required Qualifications
Experience in commercial janitorial or custodial services
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
Knowledge of sanitation and disinfecting procedures
Ability to work independently and maintain cleaning schedules
Attention to detail and reliability
Ability to lift cleaning equipment and supplies
