JOB TITLE: Senior SQL Developer
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Hybrid, 100 S. Charles St. Baltimore, Maryland (2 days in office, 3 days remote)
RATE: $65/hr - $75/hr

Overview:
We are seeking a Senior SQL Developer to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of a comprehensive reporting module. In this role, you will work with a team to create, modify, and enhance various reporting functionalities including scheduled reports, ad-hoc reports, interactive dashboards, and more. You will be responsible for coding, testing new enhancements, defect fixing, and generating reports. This position requires extensive experience in SQL, stored procedures, HTTPS, and data integration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web-based programming for a comprehensive reporting module.
• Provide support for creating scheduled reports, ad-hoc reports, and interactive drilldown dashboards.
• Integrate data sources including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to support reporting functionalities.
• Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes for efficient data management.
• Ensure the creation of reports with features such as graphs, charts, widgets, and maps for enhanced visualization.
• Design pixel-perfect reports and dashboards, ensuring accurate representation and usability.
• Develop mobile-compatible reporting applications with user-friendly interfaces and responsive designs.
• Implement data filtering based on KPIs, providing targeted insights for end-users.
• Manage and implement report types including Pivot Tables, Crosstab Reports, Analytical Reports, Transactional Reports, and Mobile BI Reporting.
• Ensure security measures are in place for sensitive data in reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions meet business needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least five (5) years of hands-on experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and Stored Procedures.
• At least five (5) years of experience using HTTPS.
• Experience in designing and generating ad-hoc reports and scheduled reports.
• Ability to work with data integration and transformation processes (ETL/ELT).
• Proficiency with report design, including drag-and-drop functionality and integration of visual elements.
• Strong skills in web-based programming and report development for large-scale data systems.
• Ability to handle large volumes of data, ensuring quick access and insightful reporting.
• Experience in developing interactive dashboards and ensuring responsiveness across devices, including mobile.
• Evidence of using the above-mentioned technologies and practices within the last five (5) years.
• Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools and processes.
