GD Resources is hiring an Onsite Board-Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist (TMP) to provide full-time clinical medical physics support for the VA Radiation Oncology Program. The TMP performs day-to-day physics services required for safe and effective radiation treatment delivery and works under the professional oversight of the CTMP.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Medical Physics or related discipline

  • Board Certified in Medical Physics or Therapeutic Medical Physics by the ABR

  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent continuous clinical experience

  • Current CEUs and VA credentialing compliance

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, monthly, and annual QA on linear accelerators and related equipment

  • Conduct patient-specific QA for all treatment modalities

  • Support treatment planning and verification using Eclipse and ARIA systems

  • Perform chart checks, weekly physics reviews, and special physics consultations

  • Support IGRT and Cone Beam CT workflows per TG-142 standards

  • Assist with commissioning, acceptance testing, and equipment upgrades

  • Participate in peer review conferences and quality assurance meetings

  • Document all care activities in CPRS and ARIA per VA policy

  • Provide clinical and after-hours physics coverage as required
