Hiring: Printer Service Technician

Are you experienced in servicing printers, copiers, and multifunction office equipment in a professional environment? We are seeking a Printer Service Technician to perform scheduled maintenance and service for copy machines located across Carson National Forest offices in Northern New Mexico.

The ideal candidate will be capable of performing on-site preventive maintenance, inspecting equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all service work is completed in accordance with project requirements. This role requires reliability, technical knowledge, communication, and the ability to travel between multiple service locations.

The Role

As a Printer Service Technician, you shall be responsible for performing bi-annual inspection and servicing of copy machines located at multiple office locations, including Taos, Penasco, Questa, Tres Piedras, El Rito, Canjilon, and Bloomfield, NM.

The equipment includes mostly HP Color LaserJet Flow MFP M880 units and one Konica Minolta C364E unit.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform bi-annual service and inspection of assigned copy machines
• Service multifunction printers and copy machines at multiple Northern New Mexico locations
• Perform internal deep cleaning of printer/copier components
• Inspect rollers, belts, fusers, and other key components for wear or damage
• Perform calibration, alignment, diagnostics, and testing as needed
• Check firmware/software status and updates where applicable
• Identify worn or damaged parts that may require replacement
• Travel between assigned service locations as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience as a Printer Service Technician
• Experience servicing copy machines, multifunction printers, and office equipment
• Experience with HP Color LaserJet Flow MFP M880 or similar HP MFP equipment preferred
• Experience with Konica Minolta C364E or similar Konica Minolta equipment preferred
• Must be able to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, cleaning, and basic part replacement
• Must have a reliable car/vehicle
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to travel between multiple locations in Northern New Mexico
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
