GD Resources LLC is seeking a Catholic Administrative Religious Education Coordinator to provide administrative and programmatic support for Catholic Religious Education (RE) programs at Fort Hood. The position supports the Catholic Chaplain and Priest in delivering comprehensive religious education services in accordance with Roman Catholic Church doctrine, Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) policies, Army Regulation 165-1, and installation chaplain policies.

Key Responsibilities

Religious Education Program Support

  • Support Catholic Religious Education programs that operate concurrently with the traditional academic year.

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of regular and seasonal RE programs.

  • Become fully knowledgeable of the Religious Education program through review of SOPs, program schedules, and concepts of operation.

Administrative & Program Coordination

  • Attend required parish and coordination meetings related to Religious Education programs.

  • Prepare and submit a monthly Religious Education calendar that includes all RE classes, sacramental preparation, and seasonal events.

  • Prepare, track, and maintain Religious Education program documentation, including:

    • Facility reservation request forms

    • Religious Education flyers and announcements

    • Attendance reports

Materials & Facility Support

  • Assist with preparation of RE program materials, including copying, organizing, and distributing supplies.

  • Support setup and breakdown of spaces used for RE activities and ensure areas are reset following program completion.

  • Coordinate logistics and materials for both regular and seasonal RE programs.

Reporting & Records

  • Track and report attendance for all Religious Education activities.

  • Maintain accurate administrative records related to RE programs in accordance with AMS and installation requirements.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Support the contractor Quality Control Plan (QCP) and ensure services meet contractual performance standards.

  • Comply with all installation access, security, identification, and training requirements.

  • Safeguard government-furnished property, records, and personally identifiable information (PII).

Required Qualifications

Education & Certification

  • Ability to obtain required Religious Education or Catechetical certification from the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS), as applicable.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Windows-based operating systems.

  • Ability to prepare calendars, reports, flyers, correspondence, and program documentation.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with program records and attendance tracking.

Background & Security Requirements

  • Ability to successfully complete required background checks, including child protection suitability screening.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Fort Hood installation access credentials and contractor identification badges.

  • Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and appropriate workplace behavior.

Training Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Anti-Terrorism (AT) Level I

  • OPSEC Level I

  • Child Protection Training (initial and annual)

  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Protection

  • Additional DoD or Army-mandated training as required

Work Environment & Conditions

  • Work is performed at a U.S. Army installation.

  • Schedule varies based on Religious Education programming and community needs.

  • Position may require evening, weekend, and holiday work, particularly during seasonal religious education programs.
