Project Manager (Fenestration / Window Manufacturing)
Location: Tacoma, WA
Compensation: $85,000 – $130,000+ annually (DOE)
Job Summary
We are passively seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator or Purchasing Agent / Project Manager with direct experience in window manufacturing or the fenestration industry. This is a non-urgent opening, and we are open to reviewing strong candidates as they become available. The ideal professional will bring a solid blend of estimating, procurement, and project execution experience within window systems or related manufacturing environments.
This role is responsible for managing projects from bid award through production, delivery, and installation, ensuring cost control, quality, and on-time execution. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, production, vendors, and field teams to successfully deliver projects that meet contractual and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for window manufacturing and installation projects
Manage projects from award through production, delivery, and installation phases
Coordinate purchasing of materials, components, and vendor pricing related to window systems
Collaborate with sales, engineering, production, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle
Manage project budgets, schedules, change orders, and documentation
Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with quality standards, timelines, and contractual requirements
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience as a Project Manager / Estimator or Purchasing Agent / Project Manager
Mandatory experience working for a window manufacturer or fenestration company
Strong background in estimating, procurement, and project coordination
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
Experience with construction or manufacturing project lifecycles
Proficiency with estimating and project management software
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
