Job Title: IT Specialist – Mid-Level
HBITS Task Order: HBITS-06-14139
Agency: Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS)
Location: Buffalo, NY (Hybrid – 50% Onsite)
Rate: Depends on experience


Position Overview:
Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative providing direct user support for the CONNECTIONS system and delivering on-site technical assistance and training.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide user support (in-person, phone, email)
  • Deliver on-site systems training
  • Support compliance and monitor data requirements
  • Maintain and review technical documentation
  • Provide warehouse-related technical assistance

Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience providing IT support
  • 3 years of experience in implementation support
  • 1.5 years of experience in on-site support for child welfare systems
  • 1.5 years of experience in training welfare application users
  • Bachelor’s Degree
