Overview:
We are looking for a Help Desk Specialist with extensive experience in Navy Reserve Pay and Personnel systems. This role provides direct user support, resolves technical issues, and assists in maintaining system integrity across various Navy platforms, including NSIPS and related systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier I and Tier II level support for personnel system trouble tickets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve pay and personnel-related system issues.
- Interface with database administrators and DFAS for corrective actions.
- Monitor, update, and close trouble tickets while ensuring accurate documentation.
- Support customer inquiries related to Reserve Pay, personnel transactions, and system navigation.
- Communicate effectively with CNRFC stakeholders on issue resolution and system trends.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Navy Reserve Pay and Personnel operations.
- Proficiency in Navy systems such as NSIPS, DJMS-RC, OPINS, Benthic Golden 32, and Remedy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a support team.
Tools & Systems Experience:
- Navy Enlisted System (NES), Electronic Service Record (ESR), Reserve Headquarters System (RHS)
- Familiarity with government ticketing systems and issue resolution protocols
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 40-hour work week
- Occasional telework may be authorized; no overtime or extended hours anticipated
