RATE: $44/hr - $46/hr

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead/Software SME to oversee and guide our software development teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in OpenText Documentum Software, Apache Tomcat environments, and Linux/UNIX operating systems. This role requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and proficiency in change and configuration management tools..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor software development teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for:
    • OpenText Documentum Software
    • Apache Tomcat Environment
    • Linux/UNIX Operating Systems
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation and adherence to SDLC practices.
  • Drive Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management.
  • Manage change and configuration processes using tools such as VersionOne and ServiceNow.
  • Address and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with OpenText Documentum Software, Apache Tomcat, and Linux/UNIX OS.
  • Proficient in SDLC practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical development teams effectively.
  • Strong facilitation skills for leading discussions across multiple groups.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience presenting to management.
  • Familiarity with change management and configuration management tools (e.g., VersionOne, ServiceNow).
  • Proficient in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and problem/risk management.
  • Competent in using the MS Office Suite.
