EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Contingent upon contract award

DURATION: 12 Months

Overview:
GD Resources is seeking Staff Researchers for a proposed statewide initiative aimed at evaluating judicial officer workloads and modernizing case weighting models. Client may require visit to various locations throughout the State of Maryland to assist with completing the workload assessment. This position is contingent upon award of the contract and will support the research and analysis components of a judicial workload assessment across various courts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze data from case logs, court systems, and related sources.
  • Design and implement studies to inform policy and staffing decisions.
  • Conduct qualitative research through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
  • Support the development of reports, presentations, and policy recommendations.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather insights and validate findings.
  • Synthesize large volumes of information into actionable research insights.
  • Support event-based time studies and data integration efforts.
  • Ensure research is methodologically sound and compliant with project requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data collection and policy research.
  • Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Experience designing and conducting research studies in a public sector setting.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and draw informed conclusions.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with court systems, workload studies, or similar domains is a plus.
