Job Title: Ocean Lifeguard – Frisco Beach

Location: Frisco Beach, Frisco, NC
Period of Performance: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day
Reports To: Lifeguard Supervisor / Site Manager

Position Summary:
Serve as a frontline beach safety professional at Frisco Beach, focused on injury prevention, rapid emergency response, and public education in open water environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain visual coverage of 100-meter swim area daily (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).

  • Setup and remove daily safety equipment including surf condition flags.

  • Execute life-saving interventions as required.

  • Monitor beach conditions and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.

  • Assist with public inquiries and safety awareness.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Open water certification via USLA or similar authority

  • Experience or formal training in ocean lifeguarding

  • Valid CPR and First Aid certifications

  • Able to pass USLA fitness and endurance standards
