Salary: 128,000/annually - 180,000/annually (DOE)

About the Role
GD Resources is seeking a Solutions Architect with specialized experience in AI/ML, cloud-based computing, and data architecture. This position involves working with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure solutions for military and intelligence community customers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software architecture, big data programming, and cloud computing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze software development and data processing requirements to determine optimal solutions for complex data management challenges.
- Translate business goals into technical architectures capable of handling large datasets and complex search queries.
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and developers to design and deploy analytical tools and search capabilities, including integration with the Advana platform.
- Work with data scientists, UX designers, developers, and testers to ensure cohesive and scalable solution designs.
- Optimize software architectures and designs to meet performance targets, using profiling tools to capture performance metrics.
- Stay current on trends and emerging technologies related to AI/ML, data processing, and cloud computing.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Education: Bachelor’s degree plus 5-7 years of experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Significant experience with scripting languages like Python or R.
- Proficiency in big data programming languages, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with Elasticsearch and related indexing technologies.
- AI/ML model development, containerization, and productization experience.
- Familiarity with natural language processing and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with cloud-based computing environments (AWS, GCS, GovCloud, C2S, SC2S, UC2S).
- Experience with Knowledge Graphs, property graph model frameworks, and Neo4J.
- Strong understanding of cyber security compliance, secure software development methodologies, and obtaining authority to operate (ATO) on defense and intelligence community networks.
- Industry Experience: Experience supporting military or intelligence community customers, demonstrating progressive technical development and mission-focused outcomes.
- Desired Skills:
- Experience with Apache Spark (e.g., Databricks) for unstructured text data processing.
- Experience leveraging existing COTS/GOTS/OS tools in innovative ways.

- Ability to work in hybrid, cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions.
- Familiarity with software and systems architecture design principles.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and technical teams.
